The man behind Oculus AC
Let me introduce myself. I am Ole “elumineX” Rasmussen, programmer and developer at SteamBans.com for a couple of years now.
My primary skills lie within C, C++, Assembly language and C# (.NET), and as a second passion I like to solve problems using Mathematics preferably combined with programming.
I am very experienced in development for the Half-Life engine, as it has been subject of personal study for several years.
I have always had a vision of automating things, from simple every-day tasks like mowing your lawn or cleaning your windows (no phun intended).
I am one of those persons who believe everything can be automated in some way; everything can be made easier, faster and more predictable with the help of computers. In the past two years I have been working voluntarily for SteamBans.com as Management Admin who takes care of practically everything in need, primarily demo reviewing and staff management. Working at SteamBans made me realize just how much work is put into demo-reviewing – and thus inspired me to create a solution that would make our work a lot faster and easier.
Oculus has always been a one-man project, and therefore has taken (and does still take) a very long time to reach where it is now. The idea came from my passion for online gaming and programming, the need to eliminate cheaters and my sole creativity and courage to create something completely new.
I would also like to mention the importance of having dedicated and inspiring people around. Without the continuous backup from the staff at SteamBans I could not have made it this far; particularly D_DK, KillahInstinct and Pulp have helped me keep the mood and dedication. Thanks guys!

What going ON?!
A test server for u guys,
The updaterate is 101 with 0 loss/choke on a full server :) (118.36.140.108:62507)
I don’t know what time is in the states but usually the server gets full around 12 PM korean time on weekends and around 2 PM on other days and it stays like that for like 12 hours :)
21 is the number of my admins but even if they’re in the server it still happens to get hackers on the server and i think i’m the only one who can tell the difference between a legit player(pro) and a hacker.
My ban list is hummmm, huge and if you want i’ll send you the list so u can see it for your self.
What i’m trying to say is that i can clear that list and the hackers will be back again with all kind of cheats(speed hax/aimbot hacks/wall hacks) & scripts & all that crap.
Amxx that runs on the server is 1.8.1 the latest, just upgraded a few days ago.
I mean if you want to test your software on a 32 players server then i can give you that.
You probably have a test server(32 slots 24/7) but i'm wondering if you get that many hackers to test the software with.
I'm pretty sure, no 100% sure that the server will be visited by hundreds of hackers(i've been banning like 5 or even 6 players per day, chinese(speed hax) and indians(wall/aim hax) are #1 in my book).
Like i said, the server gets full and it stays like that hours, then u can tell if it lags or not due to all that calculations.
Thank you and keep up the good work :D
