Beta testing Oculus

Oculus is going to be released as a MetaMod plugin for both Linux and Windows servers. During the development process feature implementations need testing. It is not fully decided yet how the alpha/beta releasing is going to be done, but as it is now Oculus development is sequential meaning that one feature needs to be completed before the next is implemented.
The first feature that will need testing is the speedhack detection. Oculus might be handed out to beta testers with this sole functionality, whether beta testers will need to report back with problems and suggestions (if any). When enough correspondance between coder and beta testers has occured (meaning it runs without bugging), Oculus will be released a second time with both speedhack detection and aimbot detection (as an example) where the beta testers need to report back and so forth....

To be eligible as a beta tester you need to be signed up on this site. So if you didn't sign up yet, click "Signup" in the top left menu and fill in the details. When beta testing is launched a newsletter e-mail as well as front page news will be created. More exact details and guidelines will also be posted of course.
There is no estimate on when beta testing is launching at the current time.
